At SKC (2) he won Best Dog and Best of Breed. In October he was awarded his first CC at Gundog Society of Wales. At Gundog Breeds Association of Scotland he won another RCC and then at Larkhall Open Show he again went Best In Show. He also won 25 BOBs at Open Shows and several Group places. Rudi was only shown lightly but was awarded Best Veteran in Breed at Southern Counties, Best Veteran Dog at Windsor, Best Veteran in Show at English Setter Society of Scotland Open Show and Best Veteran in Breed at Gundog Breeds Association of Scotland Championship Show.
